PROVO, Utah – Nov. 17, 2016 – Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. was honored today as the recipient of the Corporate Spirit of Giving Award from Utah Philanthropy Day.

With recommendations from the mayor of Provo and United Way of Utah County, Nu Skin was recognized for its outstanding commitment to philanthropy and community service. Nu Skin was the only for-profit company honored at the luncheon where Nu Skin’s founder and chairman of the Board, Steven J. Lund accepted the award.

“We started in a small office building in Provo with a unique product philosophy and mission to be a force for good in the world,” said Lund. “Today we offer more than 200 skin care and nutritional products in more than 50 markets, and together with our sales people and employees, we are nourishing and uplifting children all around the world.”

Nu Skin received the award as a result of its community and philanthropic projects including its global Force for Good Day. Each year employees participate in various projects from assembling 10,000 lunches for needy children throughout the community, cleaning 13 city blocks of downtown Provo to partnering with United Way of Utah County for Sub for Santa and Day of Caring.

“We are fortunate to have Nu Skin in our community and have greatly benefited from the company’s generosity,” said Provo City’s Mayor John Curtis. “Not many events take place in our community without the support and positive influence of Nu Skin and its employees.”
